Q - What does my home warranty cover?
A - Of the several home warranty plans we offer, you can select the one that conforms
to your needs. Choose the most comprehensive or an item-specific home warranty plan.
The choice is yours. There are currently three convenient payment plan options. We see
to it there is a plan to accommodate all household concerns and budgets.
Q - How do I file a claim?
A - Pick up the phone and call us! A trained customer service representative is standing
by 24.7.365 to put in your request for service.
Q - How does the Liberty Home Protection home warranty function as a value-added tool
to speed the home selling process? We are selling but would like to offer our home on
the market with the warranty as part of the sale. Can we do this?
A - Sure. Our home warranties are transferable. Just pay the $15.00 processing fee and
you are on your way.
Q - What conditions could exempt my household systems and appliances from Liberty Home
Protection coverage?
A - Things that could negatively impact your appliances and systems include: significant
mold or mildew growth, rust, corrosion and others - including chemical, bacterial and
sedimentary deposits. Insect infestation and failures caused by pets will not be
covered.
Q - Are there limits on the number of claims you can call in?
A - Not at all. We are the home warranty people®. We want you to have the smoothest
experience possible. No hassles. We are here to serve your needs. You have appliances.
They break down. We fix them. That's why you love Liberty Home Protection.
Q - What is the service visit fee?
A - There are now two service fees. We know these things
are important to your budget concerns. You may select either a $50 or $75 service fee
and your premium will be slightly higher and lower, respectively.
Q - How fast can I expect to see a repairman once I have ordered service?
A - You can count on a visit within 48 hours, depending on the nature of your claim.
For emergencies, the response time is rapid.
Q - Once I sign up, what is my obligation?
A - There is no obligation. You can prepay or you can structure a
payment plan with monthly or quarterly payments. You also have the choice of paying
just once a year. We offer multiple choices in response to overwhelming demand.
Q - Does enrollment require a home inspection?
A - No. If you are a homeowner, you fit the bill. Apply now for the most
non-discriminating home warranty available today.
Q - What if my home is over 5,000 square feet? Do I need to call and find out how
much my penalty fee is?
A - No. You pay the same rate for all plans, regardless of size.
Q - Can I expect to have my high-mileage appliances included?
A - Yes. We cover them all. As long as your home's systems and appliances have been
properly installed and maintained, they are eligible for coverage by Liberty Home
Protection.
Q - What is the difference between a manufacturer's warranty and the standard warranty
that comes with an appliance bought in a store?
A - Store-bought appliance warranties are to protect your unit from factory defects
and generally for damage that occurs within the first year (sometimes more) of use.
A home warranty will cover both new and used appliances and household systems. The
Liberty Home Protection home warranty covers all models and ages - in good working
order during the time of enrollment.
Q - What is the difference between home insurance and a home warranty?
A - Home insurance generally protects households from natural disasters; floods,
fires, hurricanes, electrical storm damage, theft and others. Home warranty coverage
protects your functioning household systems and appliances so you can rely on all the
conveniences of modern times.
Q - Who can purchase the Liberty Home Protection home warranty?
A - Everyone is encouraged to seek out the Liberty Home Protection home warranty.
Homeowners (buyers, sellers) are encouraged to protect their greatest asset. Additionally,
real estate professionals, lenders and contractors have an interest in purchasing the
Liberty Home Protection warranty for a variety of reasons; primarily because our home
warranty is a bonus for those involved in the real estate industry.
Q - If I live in a condominium, am I still eligible for Liberty Home Protection
coverage?
A - Absolutely. We don't limit our product, nor do we limit your choices. In addition
to servicing homes of all shapes and sizes, including condos - we provide home warranty
support and service to manufactured homes, town homes and modular homes.
Q - How do you determine if an appliance is eligible for coverage?
A - All household systems and appliances are eligible for coverage that have been
installed correctly and cared for regularly.
Q - Will I have to find service professionals in my community?
A - You will never have to consult the Yellow Pages again for trade service professionals.
That's part of our exceptional service. One call does it all. Just call in and we will
dispatch one of our network trade service professionals in the quickest timeframe
possible.
Q - If I contact a trade service professional that isn't in your network of 25,000 repair
techs, will I be reimbursed for service?
A - If you have an emergency and need assistance, we will reimburse your claim, after
review and upon approval.
